HOT SPRINGS — Brayden Nunnally showed why he was the MVP of Manila’s 61-57 overtime victory over Bergman in the Class 3A state championship game Saturday night before 2,521 fans at Bank OZK Arena.

Nunnally, who scored 22 points on 8-of-18 shooting, scored five of Manila’s 11 points in the extra session.

Manila finishes the season 31-5 and wins its first state championship since 1962. Bergman finishes the season at 38-6.
